Wendy Jarchow

Wendy leads River SaaS Capital’s lead generation, due diligence, and lending activities to growing SaaS businesses, funding their growth with non-dilutive capital. Additionally, Wendy manages the fund’s portfolio of loans. She has over 18 years of experience in finance, venture capital, and strategic planning at both large corporations and entrepreneurial ventures. Her experience includes leadership roles in business development, operational and strategic planning.

Wendy’s extensive experience includes large financial institutions and venture funds, where she has held diverse business roles, including business development, risk management, access to capital, and strategic planning and implementation. Prior to joining River SaaS Capital, Wendy was a Venture Partner at JumpStart, a Northeast Ohio Venture Development Organization where she assisted client companies with developing funding strategies and secured capital for both start-ups and scale up businesses. Prior to her time at JumpStart she was Senior Director of Development at CWRU’s School of Medicine where she worked overseeing a program focused on bench to bedside translation in addition to major gift fundraising to support basic science research. Prior to joining CWRU, Wendy was Director of Business Development for Chrysalis Ventures. Wendy was a consultant with The Fitzgerald Group in Chicago and held senior positions with ABN AMRO and LaSalle Bank, as well as with C&T Access Ventures and Key Bank in Northeast Ohio.

Having grown up in Northeast Ohio, Wendy attended John Carroll University with a focus on Business Management and Marketing. She lives in Lakewood, Ohio with her husband and two children.
